David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1948) is an American anchor, journalist and anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for his show World News Tonight. The dramatic footage on video and its animated gestures make it the most seen newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy Nominated show is another of his many achievements. Prior to the appointment of ABC World News Tonight's anchor Sawyer was his main successor. He was the anchor for numerous shows during primetime for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He's traveled all over the globe to report on news from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He was awarded numerous Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards as well as distinctions from The Associated Press.
