Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on August 8, 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de-Domme. Her parents, who are a dental doctor and a school teacher helped and encouraged her early love for drama and theater. She initially hoped to become a master monkey was replaced by a desire to learn about drama and theater. The rise was swift for her to be an internationally renowned young actor. Following her studies in 1998 she took part in an French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning the journey to become an actor.
