Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the owner and operator of Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, in which she trains athletes. Annie is the only woman to be crowned the winner of at the CrossFit Games twice. Annie was second in both the CrossFit Games of 2010 CrossFit Games and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir, an Icelandic weightlifter, is also an avid CrossFit athlete as well as a popular TV personality. Her fame has been built on being the first woman ever to win twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. A winner of both the Dubai Fitness Competition 2013 and 2017Annie has gained a lot of attention. Annie was brought up with her family living in Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she has been a sport and fitness fanatic. The first time she competed was in CrossFit in California in 2009. The performance she showed was impressive at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir is 31 years older (as at 2021). She is 5'7 tall and she weighs 67 kilograms. Annie began with her CrossFit experience in 2009, in California. Annie did very well in the initial games and finished at the top of the list out of 70. Although she didn't win any of the titles, she finished with the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the games and became the first female to take home a trophy at CrossFit Games. Annie's outstanding performance in 2012 led her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was the second time she had won consecutively. Also, in 2014, she won a Silver Medal and most recently, in 2021 she won Bronze in CrossFit Games. Annie is a coach and trainer with her team at Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. Annie's growing fame as an athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Nuunhydration and Periodization Sidekicks Yerb. Additionally, she also has her own Youtube channel which has around a thousand viewers where her video clips, diet and travel vlogs are shared.
